Meghan Markle is capitalizing on a new holiday product through her brand, As Ever, that hints at her royal ties.
The former Royal has launched a new candle inspired by the “ease and joy” of her wedding day.
Signature Candle No. 519, retailing for $64 and infused with Moroccan mint, cardamom, and tea leaves, seems to heavily reference her time within the Royal Family by promising to “evoke the freshness of a day in the English countryside” based on a description from her website.
The product draws on the Duchess of Sussex’s recollections of her wedding day at St George’s Chapel, being “surrounded by love and laughter”. Meghan Markle married Prince Harry in Windsor on May 19, 2018.
The description further states: “This signature candle is inspired by the ease and joy of a day that holds Meghan’s most cherished memories-her wedding day.”
Meghan switched into a breathtaking halter-neck Stella McCartney dress for the evening festivities, while Harry traded his military uniform for a tuxedo.
Meghan’s new collection, which was launched this week, includes traditional Champagne-style sparkling wine, handcrafted candles, warming beverage kits, and curated gift selections.
This marks a significant expansion beyond the brand’s original preserves and honey products.
Her latest launch signifies her initial venture into home décor with ceramic candles, while the introduction of mulling kits and festive bundles indicates a strategic shift towards holiday merchandise.
The release is perfectly timed with the upcoming Christmas shopping season, as the California-based brand continues to build on its early success from earlier this year.
